Please wear comfortable black clothing. I suggest black clothing/underwear without any large logos on them to prevent staining or ruining. Black clothing also looks best when taking photos of the tattoo.
Please bring inside shoes or slippers to change into when you arrive. We try to keep outside dirt out of the shop. This is especially important during the winter months.
For large-scale body suits or back pieces, a robe to wear backward while taking a break or while you're getting tattooed to cover your arms helps immensely. Maintaining body temperature helps regulate your experience.
You may bring a blanket and pillow (black is best) as long as they are cleaned prior to the appointment.

What to wear
I always encourage people to eat a whole and hearty meal before getting tattooed, at any scale. Though we do have some light snacks and beverages available for you at the shop, if there is some specific comfort food that you would like, I suggest you bring it. We do have a refrigerator and microwave. You are also allowed to order food to the shop at any time.
It is encouraged that you snack throughout the day to maintain calories and blood sugar levels.
If you bring a water bottle we have a filtered water dispenser for you to refill.

Soap and aftercare
You will want to order these items and bring them with you if you are traveling to Pittsburgh. You do not need to bring them to the shop with you but you will want them in your hotel or airbnb
Dr. Bronners baby soap (baby blue), Hustle Butter tattoo aftercare antibacterial foaming soap, Hibiclens, or Dial Gold Complete. Any of these soaps are fantastic. You choose which you would like.
Aveeno Sheer Hydration Daily Moisturizing Fragrance-Free. Typically around 24-48 hours after your appointment, you can introduce moisturizer.
Clean Skin Club Clean towels XL: You will use these after showers instead of regular bath towels. You may place these in a clean ziplock baggie to travel with them a bit easier since they come in a large box. You want to keep them clean during your travels. These provide a safe way to pad dry your tattoo.
You may also want to consider bringing either your own sheets or a towel from home to lay on the airbnb bed so you aren't having to pay to replace theirs if you get tattoo ink on them….TRUST ME ON THIS lol
